1. What is FindMeTrek?
FindMeTrek helps you discover, plan, compare, save, and book treks across India. It brings trek guides, filters, weather context, route details, operator listings, and booking tools into one place.
2. Is FindMeTrek a trek operator?
No, we are not a trek operator. We do not conduct or guide treks ourselves. Operators are responsible for trek operations, safety practices, pricing, itineraries, and customer communication.
3. Are the treks safe?
Trekking always carries risk. FindMeTrek provides planning information and operator listings, but you should check current weather, route conditions, fitness requirements, permits, emergency plans, and operator credentials before booking or departing.
4. How do I book a trek?
Operator trek pages show a "Book with Operator" option when booking is available. You can enter traveler details, pay securely through Razorpay, and track booking status from your profile.
5. Is there a fee to use FindMeTrek?
Browsing, searching, comparing, and saving treks is free. If you book an operator trek, you pay the listed trek amount and applicable charges shown during checkout.
6. Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, eligible bookings can be cancelled from your profile under "My Bookings". Refunds follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy and depend on approval status, payment status, and time left before departure.
7. I found an error on a trek page. What should I do?
Use the Report an Issue page or email [email protected]. Include the trek name, page URL, and the correction you recommend so we can review it quickly.
8. How do partners join FindMeTrek?
Trek operators can sign up from the partner portal, complete their operator profile, and submit it for verification. After the profile is approved, partner features are unlocked for managing offers, bookings, inquiries, pricing, coupons, reviews, invoices, and support tickets.
