Enquiry, Cancellation & Operator Policy

How enquiries work on FindMeTrek and what to know about operator-led bookings, payments, and cancellations.

Last updated: August 2026

FindMeTrek is a discovery, comparison, and enquiry platform for operator-listed treks. Travellers browse operator price details and submit enquiries directly to operators — FindMeTrek does not process bookings or payments. Any trek booking, payment, cancellation, or refund is arranged directly between you and the operator, and is governed by that operator's own policy.

Enquiries vs Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through FindMeTrek is free and carries no payment obligation. Operators follow up with price details, availability, and next steps. You only enter into a booking or payment relationship when you choose to do so with the operator directly.

Cancellations & Refunds

Because FindMeTrek does not collect payments, we do not issue refunds. If you arrange a booking or payment with an operator, their cancellation and refund terms apply. We encourage you to confirm the operator's cancellation policy before making any payment, and to keep records of your agreement.

Operator-Initiated Changes

If an operator cancels or changes a trek you enquired about, they will contact you directly. FindMeTrek may review repeated operator cancellations to maintain listing quality.

How to Cancel

Because FindMeTrek does not process bookings or payments, there is nothing to cancel on the platform. If you arrange a booking directly with an operator after enquiring, any cancellation is handled by that operator under their own policy. You can track your enquiry and contact the operator from your profile under the "My Enquiries" tab.

How Refunds Are Processed

FindMeTrek does not collect payments and does not issue refunds. If you make a payment directly to an operator, any refund is handled by that operator under their own cancellation policy and payment method. We encourage you to confirm the operator's refund terms before paying, and to keep records of your agreement.

Trek Cut Short After Departure

If a trek is cut short after it has begun due to bad weather, a medical emergency, road closure, evacuation, or any other force majeure event, no refund will be issued. These situations are beyond the control of both the operator and FindMeTrek.

Disputes and Exceptions

If you believe a refund should apply but was not provided, contact us through the Contact page or[email protected]. We may help coordinate with the operator where needed. FindMeTrek does not process payments, but reserves the right to review disputes on a case-by-case basis.
